True duals on a BRAT

Recommended Posts

yes... my brat is also loud... but the old exhaust was rusted off and pointed at the gas tank so... yeah

that is actually a "feature" it keeps the gasoline from freezing in the winter...

The problem with true duals is it can make the engine abit "peaky" with no way to balance each side,so you loose a little bit of low end.If you add in a piece connecting the two sides then it tends to work better-IE X pipe or H pipe.

Okay, well thus far it seems to have just as much low end. But time will tell i suppose! The main issues i am having are carburetor issues, but i cant afford the $300 weber conversion. Lots of vacuum leaks on mine, one vacuum hose completely gone and i have no idea where it went. Has a little filter looking silver thing that a hose should go on, but no hose. I have a rubber stopper in it now
