Ok i finally got around to making a key for this DL that ive got now, and i tried to start it and it turns over and eveything fine but it wont start, it sounds like its just spinning the motor, with no compression or anything but i pulled off the distributor cap and the rotor is still spinning and i pulled of the passenger side T-Belt cover and the belt is still intact and spinning, so i dont think its the Timing Belts.
Any Ideas on what it could be???
PS: I even tried a little bit of Starting Fluid to see if it would fire up at all, and still nothing.
Edit: BTW its a 88 DL Wagon Spfi

did you change the timing belts? if so, confirm that you put them on correctly.
have you had the distributor out? make sure it's in properly.
it sounds like you are missing spark. check to see that you're getting that. double check everything you've worked on since the last time the car was running.
