PeterD
Well i have been talking with my dad about buying his/my 84 subaru and officialy being my car. he was kinda hesitent about it and really it isn't in that great of shape, cosmeticaly, my little sister drove it before getting her own car, and hit someone and the owner before was rearended. but it has a strong running 1.8l engine and good tranny. Today i talked to him again and sugessted asking this old lady that lives down the road if i could buy her 81-83 ( cant tell what year is what ) suby gl wagon. im sure it has the ea71 and also 4wd. I plan to part out the 84 and use the engine and drivetrain on the one i could get for cheap. is it possible to swap all thoes parts over: rearend, engine, tranny, front breaks and so on. what parts are not compatable. will my 84 tranny work with that chasses. thanks for the help in advance. im kinda excited. my first major car work, besides a cluch job and 3 waterpumps.
