Hey soooo I'm looking at picking up a 1986 xt 1.8 turbo for 300$ is it worth it??? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:


is this the one for sale in colorado? I think I saw that xt for sale in colorado?

Ok cool do you think the heads will be cracked on it too like every other ea82?? Because my NA heads are cracked but I've been reading that it doesn't cause a problem.

they most likely will be cracked, just run them and dont worry about it :)

Cracks between the valves is OK

 

Turbos will crack in the exhaust port.  And yes they will be cracked.

 

EJ it.

So I found a stage 2 clutch but its for a brat 1984 to 89, will that work with my D/R 4 speed???

 

I have a 89 motor and flywheel.......... :huh:

8-7/8 inch friction disc, with 7/8th in center splines.

Ok cool, yea I seen that they had a 8'' clutch and a 7'' clutch and I do remember my flywheel being the 8-7/8 because of being 4wd.

So having a really hard time finding inner and outer cone bearings?? O'Reillys couldn't even cross reference the numbers to find some please help!!!!!

Not even remotely close. The EA82 oil pump is timing belt driven.
