subietobe Posted February 24, 2014 Share Posted February 24, 2014 I talked to the owner of a Subaru performance shop in Montreal and he swears that the XV turbo diesel will be available in NA in 2015. I would love to buy what the Europeans are now enjoying (along with the 6-speed manual I might add - he did not know about the 6-speed though). Not a form letter either a real typed letter from a real person. I hope I am wrong and they were not truthful I will say that. I want a diesel There's a company in Nashville, TN importing the diesels and ECUs. Unfortunately, the wiring is left up to the buyer and I'm not so sure they're importing the transmissions. But a diesel in an older d/r GL would be able to turn some pretty big tires. Edit: If Subaru keeps selling cars as well as they are, cost probably won't be an issue before too long.
