Sonicfrog Posted October 29, 2014 Share Posted October 29, 2014 I'm looking at the same issue. What did you find out? Rock Auto has a kit for the 85 - 89 XT PS pump, but nothing for the GL. somick Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Roach Auto's database it very inaccurate. They will sell you a wrong stuff and you will pay return shipment. It is possible to rebuild steering pump. The only problem is the copper gasket. I bought a set of gasket material from Kragen and cut a gasket myself. Three thousand miles and still no leaks.
