If you're looking for low buck upgrades, start with a better rear swaybar. I replace the 14mm that was on my legacy with an 18mm off of an outback. It made a world of difference and I only payed the $15.00 for it at a junkyard.

thanx-your answer leads to my next Q?: Where can I find a chart or post of
the various years specs that would include things like anti roll dia. suspension
compatibilty changes thru the years-intake,exhaust, wheel sizes and the like-
these cars seem to be almost cross model plug and play searched for a while
and found close to nada-anyone have better luck than me (I hope!)
anyway thanx again-theres a wrecked wrx I got to check
