hey everyone i just got my timing belt put on but during the last 20 minutes of it getting put on it started raining but the timing cover was back on by then, but now that the belts on my cars acting really funny, like theres a click sound coming from the motor and whenever it makes that noise the car pauses from getting gas it seems, and the exhaust pipe makes a small back fire noise (very small), is this a carb problem or is it sumthin else , also i have no muffler

Belts are SUPPOSED to be 180º off from each other. You probably just had it off a "tooth" or two. Gotta get them right on, usually get off a bit when tentioning the belts. Later, Tim

PS are you in NE?????
