dltrial Posted August 9, 2014 Share Posted August 9, 2014 Gents, I have a 91 Loyale with SPFI. How do I set the idle? I have seen at least 3 different methods in various manuals. One says to disconnect a line ( I can't figure out which line) and 'clog' it. One says to disconnect a connector (not sure which connector), set idle to 550, reconnect and check that idle is 700. Gloyale Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Disconnect the IAC valve connector (round device on front of throttle body, round connector) On the side of the throttle body, behind the IAC....is a recessed flathead screw that is the idle adjustment. Adjust that till the RPMs are 550, then when you reconnect the IAC connector....the idle should raise to 700. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
