dmich Posted May 12, 2004 Share Posted May 12, 2004 I have a 92 Legacy, 2.2l with what sounds like front driveline noise/knocking in first and second gear esp. under load. I dont feel any vibration- last owner said it has been so for about a year. Otherwise everything is O.K. Is this common among older(240K) subaru's? I have owned other front wheel drive cars and replaced C.V. joint/drivelines but those never had this type of noise, just the shimmy's.
