dhoch14
I'm trying to ID what part is leaking on my 92 Legacy Wagon. I recently replaced a bad A/C compressor unit and noticed liquid under the car (maybe 12oz or so). I started the engine and traced the leak to the front left of the engine near the outer passenger CV boot area. I have not seen the leak again and the day it appeared, the heat was about 99F and the car was running with A/C for 45 min. Any help on finding out what this is would be greatly appreciated. Olnick
Can you identify what the "liquid" or "fluid" is?
86BRATMAN
That would be water. Not uncommon to find puddles if it under a car that has had the AC running for a while.
MilesFox
Better it drains out than soak your carpet. This is normal operation for a working AC
