Hello everyone !

I am a new owner of a older Subaru "94" wagon . the wagon only has 94 K and after doing some work to it and steam cleaning the kid goop out of the insides it looks great, almost new.

Unfortunately someone cut the drivers automatic seatbelt half way thru and a rear passenger belt as well ( the male side ) so I am looking for these parts as well as instruction as to how to replace the drivers belt that comes from the center console and hooks to the electric track on the door frame.

all info will be greatly appreciated including short cuts !   lol :D

I have never had to try fixing one - but the belt assembly as a whole should be fairly easy to r&r. the console cover will need to be removed to get to it, and it may be easier to do that with the seats out (4 bolts each)

$20 and you cover shipping costs sound ok? I am fairly sure I could probably fit them in a flat rate box.

They are a bit dusty/dirty (i live on a gravel road), but in good repair.

I am swapping the seats out of the 90 into my current 95 Legacy (much better quality seat) so the belts will be easy for me to get to - I have to keep the 95 belts, so these wont be needed.

I have had to replace seat belt reels. The ones in the console are a pair of reels tued together, and swaps as a unit. Just remove the center console to get to it.

I had to replace mine because the ratchet inside failed.

Also, subaru offers a lifetime guarantee on seatbelts. I am not sure of the terms to claim it, but it is stated in the owners manual.

update on the life time warranty of my seatbelts.

talked with a dealer here in Phoenix, on the Subaru net they didn't show life time warranty on my year and model, however he will call a more knowledgeable person should hear back in a week.

heartless ,

if you still have the seat belts for sale? my year doesn't have a life time warranty on the belts :(

milesfox  says that the front automatic belts are a unit , if that's true then I will need both driver and passenger belt mechanism from the center console . Also will need both sides of the lap belt for the center passenger in the back seat .

please let me know

Please edit your post to remove your phone number! You should never, ever post things like that in a public forum!

If you want to send me that in a private message, that would be great.

or at least modify it so it doesnt look like a phone number...
