l75eya Posted December 9, 2014 Author Share Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) ***EDIT***First picture of clutch discs was not described correctly.Okay, so here are the pictures.Cracked clutch fork.Different height clutch discs viewing raised portions (facing up)In the below picture, both clutch discs are laying flat on the ground. The raised portion that faces the pressure plate is on the ground. As you can see there is a height difference between the two. New on the left. Original on the right. They are not touching eachother.Another view. Haven't looked up this number yet.Shop finished work on the car. Aside from an occasional shudder, the car is great and the new transmission is fantastic. The shorter gears really help taking off, those first gear is over before you know it now lol.My advice to anybody else doing a similar job for the first time in the future. Make absolutely certain the parts are correct. EVEN IF the box says it's right. Compare. What a headache this was, I'm glad it's over.
