Make your own xmember spacers?

Recommended Posts

Winter is coming and I need to lift my car so I can fit my new tires in. I have been unable to find an Outback to get the tranny and engine crossmember spacers for a drop.

I believe they are from a 96-99 Outback and are 1.1/4". Does anyone have some drawings or specs so I can have some made. I don't know everything that I am looking for on this so I appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Brian

Did you already do the suspension lift? I've heard 1 inch on the outback spacers. If you need exact, I can go measure since I have one sitting in the driveway.

It's not rocket science for the spacers. Get some steel in the thickness you want and drill holes to match the subframe. Look at some pictures of EA82 lift kits if you don't have a picture in your head.

It's a 92 Loyale wagon p/b 4x4.

The lift is not in yet. It's a boss 2".

I honestly don't know exactly which spacers need to be swapped exactly. I'd love to see pictures.

Prwa, the only pic I could see on your fb page was a box full of lift parts. Could you send me a link to the one picture you had in mind. Would you sell just the subframe drop? Does that include a spacer for the rear diff?

Thank for the help. Please forgive my lack of knowledge.

Nice man! thouse are hard to come by! killer kits i strive to be a good a BOSS.... With my subframe drops i drop only the front engine crossmember and transmission mounts 1.5". Theres no need to drop the rear, ive seen people run 4" lift in the rear without dropping anything. Even 3" of lift dosnt kill them right away.

Its no problem, yeah i could sell just the spacers, 135$ shipped with all hardware

heres my photos and kits
