Pulley is from 1965 chevy alternator "externally regulated". Adapter pigtail used to allow for easy swap back should it fail. Did you do that because the stock alternators are no longer available, price, or to have better AMPS for offroad lights, winch, etc? Thanks Stock alts are still available, but close enough in price to be worth just swapping one on, and yes more amps to run stereo, lights, and winches. With normal use it makes it so the lights don't dim when using turn signals or have your stereo on since you have a few extra amps to handle it. Why is there a need to swap the pulley?
