andy.michael Posted December 2, 2014 Share Posted December 2, 2014 hi guys, now i am having trouble connecting any type of diagnostic tools to my 97 forester ej20 2.0 turbo most of the research i have done state that only vehicles from 99 onwards can be connected , i am using an elm327 and have tried various different software eg. freessm scantool, easy obd, proscan etc. now what i was wondering is would a 99 ecu work as a straight swap to get the software working or is there any software out there that would work on my car as is. thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
