Dead Loyale after timing belts broke and replaced

My 1992 subaru loyale broke timing belt due to tensioner seizing. Belts replaced with marks on crankshaft pulley 180 or opposite with flywheel set at middle mark.  Car would not start. Has spark and TDC and distributor seem fine. Has gas. Any suggestions?

I bet your'e 180 off on the timing, basically sparking on the exhaust stroke. try swapping the wires for the front two cyls and the back two on the distributor and see if it fires.

Which cam did you set first when you changed the belt?
