I just bought an 81 Brat for 600 bucks. It was taken care of pretty dang well, everything dent free except for the drivers side fender. Bought it from my friend who bought from someone. the owner said it has a blown head gasket, I was there when my buddy drove it up on the trailer... the owner cried a little. anyways, my friend had a kid and never got around to fixing it. sold it to me after sitting in the garage for 3 years. and now... Also, I was just informed of a first gen for sale at a local lot in Hayden (North of Coeur d'Alene). To OP, congrats on the new acquisition! Glad you found us and that we could help.
