bulletproof
i started hearing a grinding noise coming from the right rear,, after jacking it up ,the right rear hub spins free of the axle.. im guessing these hubs are splined ? and it took the splines out of the hub? djcommie
I think the torque on the 4WD rear hubs is 140-170ft.lbs or so, or it has a missing/damaged cone washer.
bulletproof
its back on the road.. replaced the hub and wheel seal..while it was down i replaced the drivers outer door handle, and cleaned up under the hood a little..gonna drive it around and retorque and on to the next project.looks like a heater vent door is stuck open ,its letting in cold air while driving..and the fan is making noise.
