soopsoop Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 my 88 wagon has house paint on it ,i think it is latex,i hope, the kid tried to paint the car because he didn't like the color of the car or he was ticked off at his mother don't know which. how do i get the paint off without ruining the paint and rust underneath? superpoo93 Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 Try hot water and soapy water first. If it's super thick, use mineral spirits. The mineral spirits should not hurt the orig paint, I would try a small area first and see how it works, before getting crazy with it. Maybe ask a paint store if it be ok to use as well.
