Carb to SPFI conversion.

Recommended Posts

So I bought an 88' GL wagon from a guy basically for the manual seat belts to convert my auto belts in my loyale and take the 5MT DR and I was able to get it running, it runs really good surprisingly. My question to you guys who have done the SPFI swap onto the EA81, what do I need to save before I scrap this beater? Obviously the intake, ecu, maf but is there anything I might miss. Further more is anyone interested in buying a full setup?

Thanks everyone!

Can you take photos (some closeups) of front rear ends (headlights and markers), engine compartment, dash, and interior?  No hurry but for me there might be some odd ball pieces and parts that fit my 85 and wouldn't be too expensive to ship. Photos would help lots.  Thanks

It should be noted that this car is generally a beat up clunker, hail has beat it up. The tail lights are cracked, the passenger headlight is decent, why? Because I needed a nice driver one. It is maroon in color with gray interior. I bought the car super cheap though, and to have a spare tranny is worth it to me!

There's a part called, I think, "anti-backfire valve".  It's an emission part that I need for the CA smog nazis.  If that car has one I will claim it, the fasteners, maybe the hoses too if they're intacted.  Does that model have the "canister". There might be other things too, not just for me, and that's why I suggested photos.   Thanks
