northguy Posted May 22, 2004 Share Posted May 22, 2004 This is talked about in the repair manual (USRM) but I'm unsure about it. It sounds like you have two options:1. lengthen the original, or2. put in one from the donor car and weld in a bracket to support it and the bearing with it.
