dbullen Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 Figured I would post this in case someone has an H6 with the same issue and has already replaced or cleaned IAC 2003 Subaru Outback H6 w/ 264,000 Miles Idle was running a bit high in park (1200rpm) it gradually got worse and eventually idle started hunting in park and then in drive, as well as running high. Cleaned IAC, no change, Replaced with known used working IAC no change. Issue ended up being EGR that was plugged soild of carbon buildup. dbullen Posted March 27, 2015 Author Share Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) I purchased the car with 120,000 miles and it now has 264,000 miles, mostly city driving in the 7 years I've had the car.
