MRWL8AGN Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 How does the bulb come out of the shift lever indicator in the center console? I have the surround off but removing the indicator seems to be rather complicated. I see two blue wires going into the indicator and they seem to be attached to a socket. However I cannot seem to get the socket out. I can't tell if it just pulls out or if it twists. It is plastic so I don't want to force it and break it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. And if its mechanical in nature, the mileage and options of the car (4 or 6 cylinder, manual or automatic etc.) is helpful as well.
