crawford
Hey guys. I've posted numerous times about my bad oil pump. Now I am thinking about replacing it myself. I was wondering if you guys could provide me with any insight. Where exactly is it located? Special tools and concerns.
calebz
Its on the front / bottom of the motor. .. one tip.. Get a manual... Maybe change T-belts, water pump and other associated crap while in there.
crawford
The timing belt was changed about three months before the oil pump went. About how much time should I expect this taking? Any manual better than the others? What about salvaging a used oil pump? Thanks
lagwagon
Haynes is an okay manual.I think it has more info than the other one.I believe there are just the two unless you got the dealership one.The oil pump is conected to the oil filter on bottom front of motor.
