Weber question

Recommended Posts

Alright, I'm looking into buying a 32/36 DGEV weber and I am trying to get the best price for the right stuff. I have found that i can get the full Kit for the EA82's from carbsunlimited.com for like $335 but i have been researching on this forum and have heard that some things dont match up in those kits. I have also found a new one on ebay for $245 and i have a friend that said he would be willing to make the adapter plate. Should i just go with the cheaper one if the kit isn't even going to be an exact fit??? It's going on an 87 GL wagon. ALSO, I am a bit confused with the whole "jetting" of the carb. Will the kit from carbsunlimited be "jetted" correctly and the same as the one on ebay??? Thanks a lot to anyone who replies to this. -Nathan

The kit is jetted for your application. Unless the one on EBay is for a Subaru it may not be. The adapter isn't a big deal. The Weber adapter works just fine as long as you pay attention to details. There have been many write-ups about this and a simple search should provide you with many choices and opinions.

Good luck!!
