No power to fuel pump on 96 outback

Recommended Posts

Never mind I think I got it figured out. I wasnt checking it with a helper to cycle the pump like i needed to, so it does have power when you first turn the key on, but the pump doesn't work so It just needs a new pump

I am not very familiar with these newer models, however it worth tell you that some Fuel Pumps' Circuits, receives the signal from the Crank position sensor to let the fuel pump work, so it will be stopped / not receiving voltage until the engine moves, either by the Starter motor or by itself.

So, I kindly suggest you to re-check the voltage at the Fuel Pump while cranking.

Kind Regards.
