ivantruckman
this clean 1985 4x4 sedan on ebay has a weird air set up , it looks like it has been converted to r134a , but the rotation sensor for the compressor is different , is this a retro fit air kit ? , and do the 1985 gl ,s have a black air box. just wondering how stock this is. or has it been restored ? skishop69
Definitely a repaint on the airbox and brackets. The only way I know to check the AC for factory or dealer install is to look at it. There would also be a small badge on the climate control panel that says, This vehicle is equipped for the installation of AC if it was dealer installed. Aftermarket units don't use the rotational sensor.
l75eya
Looks like they just replaced a line and put the adapters on existing lines. That is clean tho. Yes, black paint on the ea82 carb filter boxes.
