kenB Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 I have a 2003 Legacy L. I had a small collision breaking the grille. I found a 2000 Legacy in a junkyard with a grille in-tact. When installing, I found that the driver-side headlight was completely broken at the two-bolt bracket. I like the look of the black trimmed GT or Outback series headlight, and would like to replace both headlights with them. Through all listings and websites I am getting "will not fit L-Series". I have looked at the front & back of the headlights, wiring connections & shape. I cannot find any difference, except the looks. If I buy them & they don't fit, most dealers will not refund or let me return them. A-1 Auto Parts said I will have to pay shipping to send them back. Any feedback? Is there a fit, or function issue?
