sethicus
Hey guys i recently pulled my engine out and replaced the head gaskets clutch throwout bearing etc. I noticed there is a squeel on startup and its progressively getting worse. Its a luk clutch and it squeels on cold start up and when accelerating and if i just lightly put my foot on the clutch pedal it will go away. Am i right that im pulling the engine again next week thanks to lul clutches?
subnz
It could be the spigot bearing in centre of flywheel that supports the gear box imput shaft. Is the new throw out bearing the right one and installed correctly? Did you dismantle / replace clutch? could be pressure plate / disc DId you readjust pedals free play?
