I'm a newbie. I've read the Tire Wheel FAQ's. But I'm still a bit confused about what I should get. I need new tires for my 07 Outback for the coming winter. I'd like to get a smaller rims and put on taller and wider tires. I drive mostly on highway, but I also drive on dirtroads on the weekends for work. Or maybe I should just stick to the stock rims and get new tires? Thank you in advance!

Outback will need 16" wheels minimum to clear the front calipers.

Yep 16's will fit. Are you part of mainelysubarus.com? Not sure if I've asked before.
