X2Logic
Hey Gang, Our family has an 87 1.8L GL wagon. My father is the original owner. Over the years, he's had the engine replaced. Ever since its replacement, the engine will not auto warm up like it used to. I recall when cold, engine would rev to about 2K rpms until reaching operating temperature then it would drop back to normal idle. Can anyone suggest what device controls this feature? I would like to get it functioning again. Thanks!
DaveT
Coolant temperature sensor could cause that. 2 wire sensor under thermostat .
