Smashed oil pan

Recommended Posts

I'm sure it is so long as the stem of the oil sump is not hitting the bottom...

I scraped mine a couple times.. that's what happens when i decide to go offroading the day after repairs... skid plate 4 bolts super easy its on there now that's for sure.. ;)

Looks like alot got smashed off the bottom lol !! Are ya atleast alright? Does the clock work now? ;)

I personally wouldn't use it, especially since it looks like an offroader.

The integrity of the pan has been severely compromised. Next time you take a hit, it'll probably rip the pan open instead of denting. Also it looks to be worn thin in some places, wouldn't not take much of a rock to cut through.

A good skid plate should also be in your future to avoid that happening again.

I'm totally wishing I had a skidplate on my car. Good thing my other loyale has one that I can steal. The knuckle snapped and I had to get dragged back 2 miles scraping everything off. It was pretty rad haha. A couple more of these beatings and then hopefully the clock will work

find a skidplate or make one-its easy to to tag a rock without even noticing it. As far as the knuckle breaking, become one with your inner redneck, ducttape, ratchet straps, pieces of wood, etc have been used to limp vehicles off the trail before.
