Subista Posted January 1, 2017 Share Posted January 1, 2017 Hi, My Sportswagon (might be called something different in US*) is intermittently down (a lot) on acceleration. I suspect it may be a lack of fuel??? So, possibly I need to locate the fuel filter and fuel pump. Can any advise on their location? *1800cc single cam per bank, single range manual transmission, with all wheel drive Impreza wagon... Here in Australia it's badged "Sportswagon". moosens Posted January 1, 2017 Share Posted January 1, 2017 Access the fuel pump thru a covered hole atop the tank from inside the vehicle. Fold rear seat down , lift the carpet and on the passenger side you'll see the hole with some Phillip head screws holding it down. AWD vehicles pump from both sides of a "saddle" type tank.
