GeneralDisorder Posted March 17, 2017 Share Posted March 17, 2017 Just hard wire it. If you need to pull the manifold take out the 12mm bolt. If you need to replace the sensor - hard wire it again. They can be extremely troublesome so after many years of comebacks due to poor connections we just hard wire them if they give difficulty. GeneralDisorder Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 Don't solder. Use seamless non-insulted splice connectors and a proper crimper and seal it with 3M heat shrink with sealant. There's a reason that NASA and the Nuclear industry both use mechanical connections for electrical.
