Got a 1987 GL wagon d/r 4x4 ea82. Engine was in n pieces since its heads were cracked. I know it was running before I bought it because it was my friends. I have a the water passage welded and a weber 3236 carb and a 7mm spacer to clear PS and the hood closes!. Got new heads (thanks whirly), and plan on getting her running in The next 2 weeks. I will post up pictures tomorrow of her and her little sister which is my wife's 1995 GF8 Impreza

I will take some engine pics after this weekend for the build process. The spare engine for the gf wagon will be getting a new timing kit and water pump before it is installed. The ea82 wagon is getting newer heads, felrpo gasket set, already new timing kit, weber 3236( replica but ran great). O eventually want a 2" lift and some 14 or 15" wheels and tires. I have a Chevy truck that is my wheeling truck but the sub's will be for the desert small trails

13" rims with 175-70-13 tires. I really want some 14" wheels with light truck tires. Diamond racing wheels will get them for me, or I can have Scott do a 6 lug and find any size at the salvage yard

I'm curious what LT tires will fit both the 14" rims and your car? I had to hunt high and low to find the General Tire mud and snow tires I have for my 14" rims.

If I have Scott redrill I can get a tire from like a Nissan hardbody pickup that should fit. Its a 195-75-14. That tire height is 25.6 inches. I don't need ultra big. My rescue truck is big, that's for the hard trails. My subs are going to be desert rats
