johnandsheila1
I have a 2000 Outback Limited with an auto transmission. When you accelerate and the transmission downshifts, it makes a loud squealing sound (sounds like a belt slipping would make on an old power steering pump), when you let up on the accalerator the noise goes away, if you continue the hard acceleration, the noise continues until the transmission shifts back up. Any help in what to do would be appreciated. Thanks.
