dp213 Posted October 10, 2017 Share Posted October 10, 2017 I pulled the dash to do a heater core t his weekend, and now I have an air bag light on. I only know of 3 air bag connections, 1 at the center console to the unity and then 1 to each side of the dash. All plugged in. Am i missing something else or is it possible when lowering the steering wheel, the clock spring somehow got messed up. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
golucky66 Posted October 10, 2017 Share Posted October 10, 2017 (edited) It's probably the clockspring. That's the most common to get messed up when pulling a dash. Does the horn work? There is a diagnostic connector under the dash behind the steering wheel with pins you can put in to read the codes. It blinks the airbag light for long and short flashes to spell out the code. Mike104 Posted October 11, 2017 Share Posted October 11, 2017 On my 99 and 03 it was a black or gray connector. You have to take the bare leads that are taped to the harness to put into one of the connector pins and it will flash out the codes.
