Subieguy165 Posted November 2, 2017 Author Share Posted November 2, 2017 (edited) Found full donor car with everything but 2blown heads what should I do for the best results I know how to swap the parts and not to use 1 auto trans plug and the 4 pins on the other but can I change ecu to the auto harness??? wtdash Posted November 3, 2017 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Just use your ECU. ECUs between '96-'98 should all swap Manual <> Automatic.....maybe '95 too, but that's a transition year. This includes Legacy, Impreza and Forester....One thing i DID find is to ensure your charcoal canister location (front or rear) matches the ECUs, or you'll get a purge valve error.
