jfish
Long story short, I got a bolt out that I did not intend to, and I don't know what it is that it goes to. (I know where it goes, but the nut unfortunately fell back into the pan (?) that sits around the mystery downward protruding "V" formed out of two pieces of metal that were held together by this bolt). No luck yet retrieving the nut, but I'm wondering if anyone could maybe tell me what it is I so stupidly removed a bolt from? It is right next to my oil filter on my 2005 Subaru Outback 2.5XT. Any thoughts would be appreciated, any judgement for my stupid mistake can be kept to the person thinking them. Ugh! I just want to know what it is that I have unintentionally messed with. idosubaru
Can you post a picture? What size is the bolt - 10, 12, or 14mm? Are the parts part of the engine - ? Edited November 7, 2017 by idosubaru
