Been looking at all the forums and all say to use the 95 ej22 for this swap. I have found a 94 ej22. Can this be used with my ej25d intake or do I need to find a 95 ej22 intake? Thanks.

95 EJ22 automatic intake has EGR
If you don’t have emissions and don’t care about a benign check engine light you can install any 95-98 EJ22 intake with non EGR and just ignore it. That’s what I do on purpose just to simplify the engine bay.

Don't have emissions to worry with. Just need to find an intake. Thanks for the info.

I make a block off plate out of thin metal, use sealant, and bolt it on.

transfer the wiring from the 25D intake onto the 94 and it will work.
no need to source another intake.
