2005 Subaru Outback Cylynder 3 & 4 misfire

Recommended Posts

I have a 2005 Subaru Outback,  the car runs great on the highway, however once the car sits for approximately 15 or 20 minutes and you start it up and start to accelerate the car starts to choke, check engine light flashes and the car stalls.  I have run a code check on the car and it shows cylinder 3 and 4 misfire.  I can take the car back on the highway and it seems fine. So, only in town driving after car stops for a bit do I see the issue.  Any thoughts on why this is happening?   Or what to check next?

I had the coil pack replaced and it solved the issue of the issue of the car choking when it was warmed up.  Now I have a sensor light coming on, ran a code and it tells me that "Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean Bank 1".  I am assuming this may be a oxygen sensor issue.  Am I correct?

what is the code #  ?

different sources apply different wording to the code.....so to be clear about what the issue is we need the number.
