What am I going to damage if I pop the reluctor of the shaft and try moving it with vise grips? I can't find an exploded view of where the shaft lines up with the cam gear. naru Posted March 7, 2018 Share Posted March 7, 2018 The drive gear is on the crankshaft,not the cam. At this point,I would remove the crank seal to look at the drive gear and disty gear. I wasn't looking forward to dismantling every thing to get to the crank seal. This was just going to be a project and now it sounds like work...
