i was wondering what kind of oil i chould run in my '88 subaru with 130,000 miles on it? friend thinks a 20w50 is not right. i just need masters to point me in the right direction.

i my self have been using 20-w50 , use a dura- blend , about 9 bucks a-gal and a good filter [ castrol , ]

I run castrol gtx 10w30 and purelator filters (when i can find them! )

I use 20w-50 Castrol in T-Rex--no pressure problems & the engine holds together under racing use---

i use napa (valvoline) high mileage 10w30 and subaru filters.
