Kira
I have a '99 forester. One of the headlights went out the other day and I'm looking to replace it. Cars aren't really my thing (I just like driving them) but my dad said he'd help out. What's the easiest way to replace it? Do I just have to get a new bulb and put it in? Or replace the whole fixture? This car has been known to be a bit of a puzzle to me. When a friend and I put in a new stereo it took us about half an hour just to figure out how to get the stock one out. Any help is appreciated. Ranger83
It's just the bulb and you change it from the rear. The instructions are in the owner's manual, along with the bulb type. The bulbs are standard and available almost anywhere. You don't have to go to a dealer.
