dave valiant Posted August 7, 2004 Share Posted August 7, 2004 You should check and see if your throttle cable needs adjusted.The 88 TBI wagon I just got from Chef_Tim had alot of slop in the throttle cable.I could push the pedal down a little and it wouldn't increase rpm so i adjusted the cable and it responds much better.It could be frayed inside the sleeve and that is why it binds.I would check the slop before I replaced it.Dave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
