NHBill
I'm new to the USMB. This is great! Any recommendations for a Subaru mechanic in the Concord, NH area?
silversoobiegirl
I'm new to the USMB. This is great! Any recommendations for a Subaru mechanic in the Concord, NH area? I'm new too, but I think there's a Subaru dealer in Concord -- Ed Reilly Subaru. I don't know anything about them though :-\ If you want to take a ride to Milford (south of you), I've taken my Subie there and they seem pretty knowledgeable. They'll even take coupons that have other Subaru dealer's names on them, as long as the coupons originated from SOA. Hope I've helped, my friends had luck at Exeter Subaru, too. shortlid
I found a shop specilizing in import cars in Hudson on Route 111. The owner has a few Subaru's on the lot and says he has repaired a lot of them. Place is called Roy's. Joel
Ranger83
I posted a message here weeks ago for Manchester, NH with no response. Took a look at the Mechan-X files on cartalk.com and there were a number of well-recommended garages. I can't imagine there are many garages in New England that haven't worked on plenty of Subrarus. http://www.cartalk.com/content/mechx/
NHBill
I'm using a small shop called Auto Advantage in Concord, NH. A BMW and Euro car specialist who happens to be an 8 year veteran of a Subaru service department in Virginia. My 97 Legacy Outback (144K Miles) is new to me, and with a 2.5 L engine I thought it had head gasket problems simply because there was grease inside the coolant overflow reservoir. He has tested it for combustion gases and found no problems, but I need to throw money into the timing belt change and rollers for same, plus oil pump seals. I will report to the USMB my experience there.
