what is the best?

where to get it?

do you need to modify or change wheels/anything to fit it?

i've heard of scorpion lift kits, but that's about it. any help on these older model scoobs is appreciated. i'll keep searching for info :)

many thanks in advance :D

Right now there are a couple of kits out there. One is designed by the Backyard Boys from Australia. Fortunately one of the board members manufactures the same kit with permission, his website is http://www.ozified.com/ . He has a FAQ section that goes into wheels and tires.

Also Mudrat79 is also building kits of his own design. Here’s his website http://oregonoffroadsubaruclub.org/

Or you come to WCSS6 and find out all you need to know there.

Here is my lifted 82 brat (see below for link)... its running 28" tires and a PK Davis 3/3 lift (from www.ozified.com)

the lift is top notch and I was able to install it with the help of 1 person pretty much. Some parts are ok alone, but stuff like the front struts... definitely nice to have a second set of hands.

See the pic links on this thread

Sooo. . . Do you believe me now? You do know I've installed more byb/pk kits than anybody in the US? :P
