I got my 04 Forester XS in February of this year and took very good care of it; always clean, always running well, etc. In June I got into an accident merging onto I95 in Norwalk, CT. I was hit from behind @ 45 mph...it was entirely the other guy's fault. It is now september, obviously, and the car has been in the body shop/service garage @ my dealership in Conn 3 times already...each time they are finding more problems...it is still not running completely right..thers probably been 5000 dolalrs worth of service done...what recourse do i take in approaching this situation? the car will never run the same...they cant seem to fix it? has anyone been in this situation? hows subaru customer service? please if you can give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated. mattocs Posted September 12, 2004 Share Posted September 12, 2004 Call the other persons insurance company and tell them you want a new car or you'll be going to court.
