desertdriver
Greetings, I have a '97 Impreza 5-speed w/ a cable actuated clutch. The clutch release lever has cracked and will not disengage the clutch. I would like to know if it can be replaced through the lever hole. I have the two small bearing clips removed but can't seem to get the lever to un-clip from the fulcrum point. Any ideas? Thanks DD
cookie
have seen would require removal of either engine or transmission. Perhaps someone who has worked on your model will respond.
Setright
I am 98% sure the transmission should be taken out. The release fork is installed from inside the bell-housing during assembly.
